Mr. Almin Suljic, the Managing Director, heads the Board of Directors of Global Ispat Koksna Industrija d.o.o. Lukavac. He was appointed to this position after successfully spending the past four years as Executive Director of Production and Technical Affairs and as a member of the GIKIL Board of Directors.
Prior to this, he had many years of experience in other management positions at GIKIL, including directorship of a Coke Plant. Mr. Suljić also held a leading position in Lean Six Sigma Department which brought changes to the working methods in GIKIL, seeking to improve employee and company performance by eliminating the waste of resources and process/product defects.
Mr. Suljić was also the Managing Director of Pobjeda d.d. Tešanj, which is of the leading manufacturers of oil and water pumps for cars, trucks, tractors, industrial and other engines.
He was born in 1977. He completed his high school education at Tuzla High School and then obtained his university degree at the Department of Biology and Chemistry at the University of Tuzla in 2002.
With his extensive professional experience, he continued his education, which continues to this day.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the European University of Tuzla and plans to successfully complete the prestigious Adizes Institute’s Organizational Leadership/Change Leadership in 2023.
Almin Suljić is an experienced manager with a proven track record in the automotive, chemical and coking industries.
He is a strong business development professional with qualifications in operations, management, software documentation, Kaizen systems, and contract management.
